Aloha! :) Arrived in Honolulu about 11 hours before I left, after a nine hour flight (figure that one out) and got a transfer to my hotel in Waikiki. Next morning had a quick look around and caught a bus out to a flea market, which was full of touristy t-shirts, crappy souvenirs, and hundreds of ukuleles. It was also just around the corner from Pearl Harbor though so after another short bus ride I stopped off at the USS Arizona Memorial. The memorial sits directly over the Arizona and you can see the battleship about 8 feet below the surface. It's a bit hard to imagine this peaceful place being attacked as it was.
Jumped on a bus back to Waikiki, found a hostel to stay at, went for a short surf on a longboard, grabbed something to eat and went to bed.

Caught a shuttle bus out to Hanuman Bay which is situated between two inactive volcanoes and great for snorkeling. You can get right up close to all the fish, there was even a few turtles about which was quite exciting :)
Some surfing shots at Waikiki Beach...
