Sweden!

So been in London a while now and figured it was time to do a bit of traveling so packed the bags and flew over to Sweden accompanied by Matty D and housemate Rita. We flew into Gothenburg which is kinda southern Sweden and discovered that they had just had a bit of a cold snap so the place was covered in snow...

Snow.

So met up with Kajsa and Frida who we used to live next door to in Hector House and dropped our bags off then went to have a bit of a look around Gothenburg. I had always heard good things about Sweden but it was better than I expected - such a beautiful country in every aspect..

Kajsa and Matt (try not to stare at the guy in the background with the hairy lip and tattooed hands)

So over the next few days we saw lots of swedish things including;
Swedish goats

Swedish horses

Swedish Moose

Swedish Houses

etc...

Had heard some good things about Stockholm so Matt and I ventured up there for a few days, and it certainly didn't dissapoint. One of the prettiest cities i've been to i reckon. A majority of the city centre is pretty much built on and around islands and the old buildings are amazing.

The hostels here were probably the best i've stayed in, one of the nights in Stockholm was spent in this one...

and um, outside the boat again

So we hung out in Stockholm for a few days checking out the sites, and galleries etc. Matt had a mate who's wife worked in the Swedish parliament so we got to go in and check that out too which was interesting. Saw a great metal band one of the nights as well, which in true Swedish style was a 5 blond girls.
Went to the King's house as well.

Caught the train back to Gothenburg and stayed there a few nights then flew back to London to try and start making some more money for the next trip...
